If you are under 18, please ensure that your parent or legal guardian is present when you pick up your laptop and will provide written consent for you to receive the laptop grant.

Nonprofit Application Form

CyberLynx also has a mission to support technology in nonprofit organizations. Many of them are small and all-volunteer. Here’s an opportunity to use a non-personal device to support your nonprofit’s technology needs.

Individuals can also print a paper copy of the form, fill it out, and submit it. We request that nonprofits use the online Nonprofit Application Form to apply.

What happens next?

When we’ve reviewed your application, verified eligibility and have a refurbished laptop available, we will send you a “Grant Notification” email (or mail) with instructions for how to claim your device. If you have questions, you can use the “Contact Us” form on this website or send us an email at support@CyberLynxOregon.org. Generally,

  • You will pick up your device at Bandon Library at the reference desk. Check Bandon Library for their hours of operation.
  • You must claim it in person, bring your “Grant Notification,” and show ID.
  • If you are a minor, a parent or guardian (along with ID) must co-sign the Grant Acceptance Agreement.
  • You will sign a Grant Acceptance Agreement form that states the following Grant Terms and Conditions:

I agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. I will use the device for the purposes I submitted in my grant application
  2. I will not sell this device.
  3. If I no longer need use of this device within two years of the grant date, I will re-donate it to CyberLynx so it can be refurbished and regranted.
  4. I understand that the device does not come with any guarantees or warranties. If I require support, I must find and pay for it.
  5. I agree to hold CyberLynx (and any persons associated with or involved in the work done on this free refurbished computer) harmless from damages resulting from such problems that are beyond CyberLynx’s control, such as pre-existing problems in the donated system, such as viruses, misconfigured software, or hardware problems/failures. CyberLynx is not liable for loss of data due to Acts of God (fire, theft, earthquake, etc.) nuclear war, meteorite impact, alien invasion, or any other unlisted natural, supernatural, or unnatural apocalypse.
